Training & Talent Development Manager




Are you passionate about development of people and are you looking for a next step in your career within an international and innovative company? We are currently looking for a Human Resource Development Manager for Center Parcs Europe (CPE) who will be in charge of the definition and deployment of the Learning & Talent Development policy for Center Parcs and Sunparks in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and France. In this position you will report to the Group Human Resource Development Director based in Paris.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of the Training team (Trainers and plan office) of in total 7 persons, based at Sunparks De Kempense Meren in Mol (Belgium)
  • Definition and deployment of the training plan for CPE according to the strategy and interests defined by the group and in line with the needs of CPE
  • Analyze development needs and opportunities, prioritize the importance of identified gaps and recommend interventions in line with the Group strategy
  • In charge of the development of internal training programs including e-learning programs (together with the team of Trainers)
  • Build and foster a strong partnership with operational managers and directors of CPE. Collaborate on learning priorities, training quality and the delivery of new training programs (blended programs)
  • Provide guidance and consultation to managers and directors of CPE concerning employee performance, development, engagement and talent development
  • Steers the Talent Development Program for CPE towards Managers and directors, develop and put in place Talent activities / programs, in consistency with the HR Group strategy
  • Convening the CPE Talent committees on country and European level
  • Reporting and analyzing of KPI’s (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Responsible for the central training budget for CPE
  • Participation in general HR projects on country or Group level

We are looking for a candidate with strong managerial skills to challenge and coach the team with a focus on continuously improvement of the Training program and able to challenge the status quo. Next to this you have excellent knowledge about the trends concerning Learning and Talent Development, especially with regard to e-learning. You are confident to engage with people across all levels of the organization and you have the ability to build solid and professional relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers. You are also able to analyze data and provide KPI reports and you have the ability to manage shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Next to this you:

  • Have minimum 10 years of experience in Learning and Talent Development of which minimum 5 years in a management position, in a commercial, result driven international corporate environment.
  • Have proven experience of managing divers training programs (including e-learnings) from employee till higher management levels and with both internal trainers and external training suppliers.
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of the German and/or French language is a strong plus.
  • Are fulltime available and you are flexible to travel to the different locations
